The app
Beacon connects directly from your Mac to the Grafana instance you configure. Your Grafana URL and API token stay on your Mac. They are not sent to me.
Beacon does not require an account, sell data, or include third-party advertising SDKs.
Your Grafana data
Alert state, dashboard links, and runbook links are read from your Grafana instance so Beacon can show status and notifications. That data is used on your Mac for the app experience.
The website
This website uses privacy-friendly analytics through Plausible to understand basic traffic, such as page views and referrers. It does not use advertising cookies.
